Gemhalo Massacre: Ethiopian and Eritrean forces massacred civilians, with their hands tied behind backs, in Gemhalo – ‘Even a chicken should not be slaughtered like that’

Residents of Gemhalo say Ethiopian and Eritrean soldiers engaged in massive looting of property that belonged to the civilian population and massacred innocent civilians, with their hands tied behind their backs. In one particular case, the forces massacred entire members of a family where desperately trying to save their lives by hiding from the soldiers.
